| Methi
Fenugreek or Methi is an ancient spice, having a
brownish-yellow rhombic shaped seed which is
slightly bitter and aromatic. Dry light roasting
can enhance the flavour of the seed and reduce the
bitterness.It is a must ingredient for Indian
pickles. The fresh Methi leaves are cooked as a
vegetable like spinach. They
stimulate bile secretion which helps in
