| Radish
Radish is a cool-season, fast-maturing, easy-to-grow
vegetable. Radish grows well in fertile soil with plenty of
sunshine and moisture. The popular red radish is low
in calories with a distinct flavour. The fleshy root
can be eaten both raw as well as cooked. The vegetable
contains vitamins B&C and is said to have a cooling
effect.
